Job summary

Fusion Academy in Englewood, NJ seeks a Physical & Health Education Teacher to deliver personalized, one-on-one instruction for grades 5–12. You’ll shape schedules, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues to support students academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities include mentoring students, adapting lessons, maintaining records, and engaging families. Full-time with possible part-time options in a dynamic, student-centered setting that values growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or Physical Education.
• Minimum of 20 college credits in Kinesiology, Anatomy, Physiology or PE.
• Enrollment in or completion of a Personal Trainer certification.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Ability to teach a broad range of PE/health courses with provided curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teach in a truly personalized way — one student or small group at a time.
• Adapt lessons and assessments to meet each learner’s needs.
• Mentor each student and support their social-emotional growth.
• Build strong, consistent partnerships with parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to campus life or culture.
