Job summary

Fusion Academy is a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 5–12. As a Physical & Health Education Teacher, you’ll have the flexibility to shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or Physical Education required.
• Minimum of 20 college credits in Kinesiology, Anatomy, Physiology or Physical Education.
• Expertise in the relevant PE/Health subject area.
• Enrollment in, or completion of, a Personal Trainer certification.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Ability to teach PE & health courses across athletic, dance, personal fitness and health.
• Experience with students with diverse learning needs and mental health considerations.

Responsibilities

• Teach in a truly personalized way — one student or small group at a time.
• Adapt lessons and assessments to meet each learner’s needs.
• Mentor each student and support their social‑emotional growth.
• Build strong, consistent partnerships with parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to campus life or culture.
• Keep student records accurate and organized.
• Invest in your own growth through reflection, feedback, and ongoing professional development.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or Physical Education

Minimum of 20 college credits in Kinesiology, Anatomy, Physiology, and/or Physical Education

Expertise in the relevant subject area

Enrollment in a program for, or completion of, a Personal Trainer certification

Current CPR Certification

Ability to teach a wide variety of PE & health courses

Experience with students with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges
