Job summary

Fusion Academy, a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 5–12, seeks a Humanities Teacher in Alexandria, VA. You’ll design creative lessons, shape schedules, and collaborate with passionate colleagues to personalize education academically, socially, and emotionally.

You’ll teach English, literature, World and U.S. History, Government, Economics, and other humanities, supporting diverse learners and maintaining strong parent partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of courses (English Composition, Literature, Language Arts, World and U.S. History, Government, Economics, Humanities, and Electives), curriculum and resources provided.
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.

Responsibilities
