Job summary

Fusion Academy is a private, fully accredited 1-to-1 school for grades 5–12. The Humanities Teacher role offers personalized, student-centered instruction with curriculum provided and opportunities to shape your schedule.

The position is part-time with potential to transition to full-time based on student enrollment. Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s degree, mentoring skills, and a growth mindset, plus comfort with technology and collaboration with families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability to teach a wide range of courses — English Composition, Literature, Language Arts, History, Government, Economics, Humanities and Electives; curriculum/resources provided.
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.

Pay Range

USD $26.00 - USD $26.00 /Hr.
