Job summary

FLOWERS.com Inc. is hiring a Manufacturing Associate, Specialist (Mechanical Engraving) for 1st shift. You will support a production line personalizing each gift, inspect products, load and unload fixtures, and may operate machinery while following PMall safety guidelines and standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Flexible with shift during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Produce goods in accordance with company guidelines.
• Operate Equipment used in various production areas assist in the production process.
• Load/unload equipment as needed.
• Perform cleaning and minor maintenance on all production equipment within department.
• Identify opportunities and recommend ideas for increasing productivity.
• Report any quality or equipment issues.
• Take direction from supervisor/manager.
• Reads and matches item label to customer's request.
• Ability to match colors, words, and products.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently, as well as be a team player.
• Assist other departments when needed.
• Ensure all jobs are ready for equipment as needed.
• Continuously check quality.
• Reports to department supervisor or assigned POC.
• Attendance and punctuality are crucial.
• Follows company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
