Job summary

Life Time Reston is seeking a Personal Training Manager to lead a team of Fitness Professionals through their careers, supervising revenue departments and team members within Life Time Training. You will oversee hiring, manage 15–50 fitness professionals, and drive key initiatives while maintaining budget and P&L.

All staff must be educated in the Core 3 Method. You will ensure a high-quality member experience, develop engaging training programs, and coach staff to achieve revenue targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of personal training experience at Life Time.
• 2–3 years of sales and program design experience.
• 2 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Certified Personal Trainer required.
• CPR and AED certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an artistry level member experience on the fitness floor daily.
• Develop safe, professional, exciting and comprehensive personal training programs.
• Motivate and coach Personal Trainers to achieve revenue and session goals.
• Promote and sell personal training programs.
• Complete payroll and keep payroll expenses within budget.
• Monitor personal training department supplies and expenditures.
• Oversee 90-day onboarding for new Personal Trainers.
• Assess performance, provide feedback and recognition.
• Make hiring, promotion, disciplinary, and termination recommendations to the GM.
• Conduct weekly Personal Training Department and Management meetings.
