Job summary

Equinox in Chicago is seeking a Manager in Training for Personal Training. This full-time, on-site role develops future Personal Training Managers through EFTI and MIT programs, while you lead by example, grow the client base, and ensure high service standards. CPR/AED is required and weekend availability is expected.

Responsibilities include driving team targets, coaching staff, and maintaining the PT app, with competitive pay structure including sessions and base hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification or Bachelor/Master's degree preferred.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Full-time availability including weekends and holidays.
• Proven experience building a client base and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Accountability for team business deliverables by setting targets and providing feedback.
• Build client base via fitness evaluations, orientations, and sessions.
• Generate PT sales leads and support trainer development.
• Complete EFTI and MIT programs.
• Provide high level of personalized attention to members.
• Update and maintain the Personal Training App.
• Instruct proper use of equipment and exercise techniques.
• Maintain attendance and participate in meetings.
