Job summary

Equinox Group is seeking a high-performing Personal Training - Manager in Training to join our team in New York. You will report to PT Department Managers and participate in an educational program preparing you to step into a PT Manager or PT Programming and Development Manager role.

This non-exempt hourly position offers the opportunity to build a client base, drive PT sales, and advance through EFTI training, with pay at $29.80 per hour plus competitive benefits and a path to leadership within

Qualifications

• Must have CPR/AED certification.
• 1-3 yrs of Personal Training experience (Preferred).
• Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification or Bachelor/Master's Degree in the field (Preferred).
• Proven experience building a business and attracting new clientele.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accountability of team’s business deliverables by setting targets and providing feedback.
• Build and establish a client base through fitness evaluations and PT sessions.
• Generate PT sales leads and support trainer development.
• Assist and complete the MIT (Manager in Training) program.
