Monarch Recreation Center in Pflugerville, TX, seeks a dedicated Personal Trainer to provide individualized fitness assessments, personalized training programs, and one-on-one coaching for members.
Under the supervision of the Fitness Coordinator, you will design tailored programs, assess progress, guide members on the gym floor, and help maintain a clean, safe training space while contributing to revenue through training sales.
Under the supervision of the Fitness Coordinator, the Personal Trainer provides individualized fitness assessments, personalized training programs, and one-on-one coaching for members of the Monarch Recreation Center. The position ensures safe, effective, and motivating exercise experiences while helping members work toward their fitness goals.
Formal Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Relatable Work Experience: Three (3) years of personal training. One (1) year of experience in the fitness or exercise industry.
Training, Licenses, and Certifications: CPR, AED, and First Aid. Exercise certification (ACE, AFAA, ACSM, Cooper Institute, or equivalent), or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications: Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) or Group Fitness Instructor credential.

One year of full-time experience is defined as 30 or more hours worked per week for 12 months. One year of higher education is defined as 30 credit hours completed at an accredited college or university.
Knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and exercise science.
