Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Personal Trainer to support members in achieving healthier lives by building relationships and delivering education-driven experiences. You will design comprehensive client programs, conduct consultations, and promote training services while upholding Life Time standards.

The role emphasizes safety, ongoing learning, and exceptional customer service as you assist members on the fitness floor and document progress. Full-time employment includes a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of personal training experience.
• Certified Personal Trainer, CPR and AED certification.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs to drive goal achievement and retention.
• Instructs clients during sessions on safe/effective use of cardio, flexibility and strength equipment.
• Conducts fitness consultations including pre-participation screening, medical history, lifestyle questionnaire, and goal setting.
• Provides fitness floor assistance to ensure safety, education, and motivation.
• Promotes and sells personal training programs and services.
• Documents all aspects of client programming and progress.
• Remains current on credentials and industry trends.
