Equinox in Glendale, CA is seeking a dynamic Personal Trainer to empower clients and elevate performance. You will develop programming, lead workouts, and guide clients through assessments and personalized plans.

Under two managers, you will pursue continuing education, expand your client base, and work across in-person and virtual sessions. The role offers strong earning potential through base pay, bonuses, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Current Personal Training certification from a nationally-recognized program.
• Eligibility to begin at a higher PT tier level based on experience and education.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work in-person weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an active client base.
• Manage and maintain an accurate schedule.
• Market and sell training programs by calls, emails, and in-person interactions
• Perform fitness assessments and guided workouts.
• Create personalized programs for in-person and virtual clients.
• Maintain a safe, organized fitness floor.
• Attend continuing education classes and meetings with management.

Primary Responsibilities

• PT Business Management
• Build and maintain an active client base
• Manage and maintain an accurate schedule, inclusive of client appointments, meetings, and open availability within our internal scheduling systems
• Market and sell personal training programs to members and/or clients through phone calls, emails, and in‑person interactions
• Maintain knowledge of all club services, programs, and products
• Service and Hospitality
• Execute fitness assessments, guided workouts, and other complimentary services for members
• Interact with members to enhance their workouts and overall club experience
• Create and coach personalized programs for both in‑person and virtual clients
• Maintain an organized and safe fitness floor during shifts and sessions
• Professional Development
• Attend Continuing Education classes to elevate knowledge and qualify for promotions
• Attend and participate in any required one‑on‑one or team meetings with management

Qualifications

• Current Personal Training certification from a nationally‑recognized program

Pay Transparency: $39.50‑$70 per session; $18.47/hr (non‑session work); ability to earn additional incentive bonuses.
