Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of personal training experience.
• Certified Personal Trainer.
• CPR and AED certification.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional client programs to drive goal achievement and retention.
• Instructs clients on equipment and safe workout techniques.
• Conducts fitness consultations including screening and goal setting.
• Provides fitness floor assistance and member education.
• Promotes and sells personal training programs.
• Completes administrative requirements for each client’s plan.
• Keeps credentials current and pursues ongoing education.
