Job summary

Life Time, Inc. in Westwood, MA is seeking a dedicated Personal Trainer to design safe, engaging workouts and guide members toward their fitness goals. You will work primarily with Members, conducting sessions, onboarding new clients, and delivering complimentary services aligned with Life Time’s Core 3 Brand.

Requires CPT, CPR/AED, and at least 1 year of experience; a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology is preferred. On-site position with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of personal training experience.
• Certified personal Trainer.
• CPR and AED Certified.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, exciting and comprehensive personal training programs to ensure clients reach their goals.
• Monitors and instructs clients during sessions on safe use of cardio, flexibility and strength equipment.
• Educates members on current health and fitness issues and trends.
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting.
• Promotes and sells personal training programs and services.
• Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan.
• Remains current on certifications and trends in the industry.
