Job summary

YOUNG MENS CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF METROPOLITAN HUNTSVILLE seeks a dedicated Personal Trainer to support members in achieving fitness goals and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

The role involves promoting the YMCA mission, conducting ActiveTrax Orientations, recruiting clients, and assisting fitness staff with program delivery. CPR and a national Personal Trainer certification are required, along with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current CPR certification and a nationally accredited Personal Trainer credential are required.
• Willingness to promote the YMCA mission and work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Promote the YMCA Mission, goals and objectives to members, staff and the community.
• Provide ActiveTrax Orientations and supervise fitness program delivery.
• Recruit new personal training clients and manage existing client relationships.
• Maintain a clean, safe branch environment and follow safety procedures.
• Assist Fitness Supervisor with events and branch activities as needed.
