Job summary

The YOUNG MENS CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF METROPOLITAN HUNTSVILLE is seeking a dedicated fitness professional to join the SE Branch team in Huntsville, AL. You will lead and promote wellness programs, guide members, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment during scheduled hours.

Responsibilities include delivering ActiveTrax orientations, recruiting new personal training clients, coordinating with fitness staff to implement programs, and acting as a liaison for members and YMCA Directors while

Qualifications

• Demonstrated record of individual development
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Current CPR and nationally accredited Personal Trainer certification

Responsibilities

• Communicate and promote the YMCA Mission, goals and objectives to employees, volunteers and the community at large.
• Promote a safe and positive atmosphere during scheduled working hours.
• Identifies and resolves problem areas to ensure member satisfaction
• Assists all fitness staff to ensure proper implementation of fitness programs
• Provide members with ActiveTrax Orientations.
• Responsible for recruiting new personal training clients and managing existing clients
• Provides consistent member involvement activities for new and existing members.
• Act as a liaison for members and YMCA Directors.
• Assists Fitness Supervisor in organizing special events at the branch and other locations as deemed necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Responsible for following scheduled appointments.
• Responsible for any other duties as assigned by the branch Fitness Supervisor
