Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking a Personal Trainer to support members in achieving healthier, happier lives through education, personalized training plans, and exceptional service. You will build client programs, monitor sessions, conduct consultations, and promote training services while maintaining safety and brand integrity.

Required: HS diploma or GED, 1 year PT experience, CPR/AED and CPT certifications. Preferred: Bachelor's in Kinesiology or related field.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of personal training experience is preferred.
• Certified personal Trainer certification required.
• Cpra and AED certification required.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe, professional client programs that drive goal achievement and retention.
• Monitor and instruct clients during sessions on cardio, flexibility, and strength training.
• Read, watch, and engage in required trainings for the role.
• Conduct fitness consultations including pre-participation screening and goal setting.
• Provide fitness floor assistance to ensure safety and motivation.
• Fulfill member service tasks such as assessments and equipment operations.
• Promote and sell personal training programs and services.
• Complete administrative requirements for each client’s fitness plan.
• Stay current on certifications and industry trends.
• Ensure members feel competent and connected through superior service.
• Document all aspects of client programming.
• Maintain credentials and pursue continuing education.
