Job summary

Arcis Golf at The Woodlands Country Club is seeking a certified and experienced Personal Trainer to join our fitness and wellness team. We offer one-on-one training, tailored programs, and a focus on delivering an exceptional member experience on the club floor.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, self-motivated, and capable of engaging with members, while building relationships and growing a personal training business. CPR/AED Certification is required, with group-class leadership a plus.

Qualifications

• Certified Personal Trainer with NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA or equivalent.
• CPR/AED Certification required.
• 2–5 years of personal training experience preferred.
• Experience in a country club or luxury fitness facility preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Weekend availability required; additional weekday hours may follow.
• Group fitness instruction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions tailored to each member's goals and abilities.
• Develop and maintain individualized exercise programs with progress tracking.
• Engage members on the fitness floor and grow your client base.
• Provide a welcoming, professional, and motivating fitness environment.

About the Role

Arcis Golf is seeking a certified and experienced Personal Trainer to join our dynamic fitness and wellness team at The Woodlands Country Club. We are looking for a fitness professional who combines a passion for health and wellness with an exceptional, service-oriented approach to member care.

We are seeking an energetic trainer who enjoys being on the fitness floor, proactively engaging with members, building relationships, and growing a successful personal training business. The ideal candidate is approachable, self-motivated, and committed to delivering an outstanding member experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions tailored to each member's goals, fitness level, and abilities.
• Develop and maintain individualized exercise programs while tracking member progress.
• Build relationships with members by actively engaging them on the fitness floor and identifying opportunities to grow your client base.
• Provide a welcoming, professional, and motivating fitness environment.
• Ensure the fitness floor remains safe, clean, organized, and inviting.
• Assist with new member orientations, club events, fitness demonstrations, and wellness initiatives.
• Lead or substitute group fitness classes when needed (preferred).
• Collaborate with the fitness and wellness team to deliver an exceptional country club experience.

Qualifications

• Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent)
• CPR/AED Certification required
• 2-5 years of personal training experience preferred
• Previous experience in a country club, luxury fitness facility, or high-end health club is preferred
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable initiating conversations and creating lasting member relationships
• Weekend availability is required; additional weekday hours may become available as your client base grows
• Group fitness instruction experience is a plus
