Job summary

North Yorkshire Centre for Independent Living is looking for a Personal Support Assistant to help a 26-year-old man with SEN and ASD. The role is on-site in Scarborough and part-time, with up to 6 hours per week, mainly on weekends.

You will accompany him on short trips, walks, bowling, or provide company at home. Applicants should have experience with SEN/Autism and sensory processing, plus a valid driving licence with access to a car.

Qualifications

• Experience with adults with SEN/Autism and sensory processing issues.
• Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to own car.

Summary

A personal assistant to support a 26 year old man with SEN and ASD for short trips/drives out, walks/bowling or company at home.

Up to 6 hours a week are available (mainly weekend work and it will only be one of the days to start with)It also doesn’t have to be every weekend as we’re flexible.

Requirements

• Applicants Must have previous experience with adults with SEN/Autism and sensory processing issues.
• You must also hold a valid driving licence and have access to your own car.

Pay & Benefits

Salary: from £16.29 an hour

Pay is £16.29 per hour and a full DBS will have to be undertaken (the cost will be covered by NYC)
