Job summary

North Yorkshire Centre for Independent Living is looking for a Personal Support Assistant to help a 26-year-old man with SEN and ASD. The role is on-site in Scarborough and part-time, with up to 6 hours per week, mainly on weekends.

You will accompany him on short trips, walks, bowling, or provide company at home. Applicants should have experience with SEN/Autism and sensory processing, plus a valid driving licence with access to a car.

Qualifications

• Experience with adults with SEN/Autism and sensory processing issues.
• Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to own car.

Responsibilities

• Support a 26-year-old man with SEN/ ASD for short trips/drives, walks or company at home.
• Hours: up to 6 hours a week, mainly weekend work; not every weekend at start; flexible.
