Job summary

Macy's is seeking a Personal Stylist to deliver an elevated customer experience through lifestyle selling, in-store and virtual engagement, and strong client relationships. You will develop a local client base, host events, and utilize social media to drive traffic and sales.

Full-time schedule typically 30+ hours/week with potential for weekly variability. Benefit-eligible hours and performance-based incentives may apply depending on location and policy.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication with diverse groups of customers and peers.
• Self-starter able to adapt quickly to changing customer expectations and needs.
• Keen sense of fashion and ability to coordinate items and suggestive selling techniques.
• Experience or familiarity with a variety of lifestyles and social media platforms.

Responsibilities

• Exceed sale goals with personalized, elevated in-store and online experiences.
• Drive customer acquisition through networking, social media, and online presence.
• Partner with store team, vendors and community partners for virtual and in-store events.
• Utilize selling tools to increase annual spend and repeat visits; invite customers to appointments.
• Make data-driven decisions to grow sales in the local market.
• Meet with Store Manager regularly to review performance, goals, and actions.
• Complete daily/weekly tasks including emails, appointment bookings, follow-up, and content creation.
• Attend vendor trainings and development workshops.
• Share knowledge to help peers grow skills and develop yours.
• Participate in store leadership meetings and maintain a welcoming environment.
