Job summary

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLES

• Display outstanding customer service skills by greeting customers, and providing friendly, courteous, personalized service at all times. Display this same courtesy to co-workers as well.
• Be professional in appearance and demeanor.
• Inspect all packaging and date on each item for quality and freshness. Select the best item(s) available and pick the longest sell by date, on perishable items, to ensure quality control. If there are any questions about the selection or quality of an item, especially perishable items like produce and meat, the personal shopper should request the assistance of the department manager or Store Director.
• Communicate verbally, by email, phone and text to customers, department managers and management in a positive, professional manner and tone.
• Use proper handling, staging, and appropriate packaging on all orders.
• Be willing and able to work additional shifts other than what is posted on weekly schedule.
• Be willing and able to perform other duties as assigned such as general cleaning, custodial duties, and other activities as directed by management.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE –

Must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and meet all the Company driving requirements. High school diploma or general education degree with one to three months of related experience or training. Computer skills are a must with proficiency in email, cell phones, and texting.
