Job summary

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies in Ohio are seeking candidates for a Personal Lines underwriting class beginning in June 2027. The pay rate for this position is $28.85 hourly, which converts to about $60,000 annually upon successful completion of training, with eligibility for annual cash bonuses and stock incentives based on performance.

After training, underwriters provide underwriting support and service to agencies in an assigned territory and contribute to profitability by growing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or four+ years of insurance-related work experience with an AINS designation.
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building and analytical skills.
• Excellent time management and communication abilities.

Starting Range of Pay:

The pay rate for this position is $28.85 hourly. The hourly pay rate will convert to $60,000 annually upon successful completion of training. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
