Shift/Remote Flex: first 90 days onsite and then hybrid 3 days a week onsite (flex on days)

A high priority client is looking for (2) personal lines insurance underwriters to assess risk, determine coverage eligibility, and establish appropriate premiums for personal insurance policies. The ideal candidate will have strong decision-making skills, a deep understanding of underwriting principles, and the ability to balance risk assessment with customer satisfaction. As a Personal Lines Underwriter, you will be at the forefront of assessing risk and determining the premium rates for individuals seeking insurance coverage for their homes, autos, and other personal property.
Day to Day:
This role involves evaluating and underwriting personalized policies tailored to individuals’ unique insurance needs while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This individual will be reviewing and assessing insurance applications, carefully analyzing risk factors to determine appropriate coverage levels, and setting premium rates based on thorough risk assessments. The underwriter will communicate with insurance agents and customers to gather necessary information, ensuring informed decision-making. Within established guidelines, they will make underwriting decisions that balance risk and customer needs. Additionally, they will monitor and manage existing policies, identifying and responding to any changes in risk to maintain policy integrity and compliance.
