Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of personal lines insurance to include home, auto, umbrella, watercraft, and related products.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows environment and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
• Experience handling renewals, endorsements, mortgage changes and Auto IDs; handling payments or billing questions.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and respond to customer inquiries regarding policy questions, coverage changes, new policies, certificates of insurance, auto IDs, billing, payments, or service matters.
• Proactively seek referrals from customers to solicit new business and cross-sell opportunities.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Document renewal, sales, and insurance operations compliance in agency management systems.
• Attend internal and client meetings as needed.
• Follow agency guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Promote teamwork, a positive attitude, and support within the department.
• Participate in training to stay current on industry information, licensing and product developments.
