Securance Corp Agency in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager who excels at client-focused service and problem solving. You will manage a portfolio of personal insurance clients, assist with policy changes, renewals, and new business, and coordinate with producers, carriers, and support teams to deliver exceptional service.

The ideal candidate holds an active Property & Casualty license, has experience servicing personal lines accounts, and demonstrates strong

In this role, you'll serve as a trusted resource for our personal insurance clients, helping them navigate coverage options, policy changes, renewals, claims assistance, and new insurance needs. You'll work closely with our producers, carrier partners, and support team to deliver a high level of service and ensure our clients receive the protection they need.

What You'll Do

As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you'll manage a portfolio of personal insurance clients and provide support throughout the entire policy lifecycle.

Client Service & Account Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
• Assist clients with policy changes, coverage questions, billing inquiries, and account servicing needs.
• Provide insurance ID cards, evidence of insurance, endorsements, binders, and policy documents.
• Educate clients on coverage options, exclusions, and insurance solutions.
• Build strong client relationships through responsive and professional service.
• Maintain accurate account documentation and activity records.

New Business & Marketing

• Assist with quoting and marketing new personal lines business.
• Gather information needed for applications and carrier submissions.
• Prepare proposals and present coverage options to clients.
• Obtain quotes from carriers and coordinate policy binding.
• Identify opportunities to expand coverage and strengthen client accounts.

Renewals & Retention

• Review and market renewal accounts when appropriate.
• Prepare renewal proposals and coverage comparisons.
• Verify policy accuracy and coordinate corrections when needed.
• Assist with premium collection and billing matters.
• Work proactively to retain client relationships and minimize cancellations.
• Support clients throughout the claims process and coordinate with carriers as needed.

Team Collaboration

• Partner closely with producers and agency leadership.
• Work efficiently within Applied Epic and carrier systems.
• Stay informed on insurance products, carrier guidelines, and industry developments.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-oriented culture.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who combines technical insurance knowledge with excellent customer service and organizational skills.

Required Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License.
• Experience servicing personal lines insurance accounts.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Applied Epic or a similar agency management system.
• College degree or equivalent combination of education and insurance experience.
• Experience handling personal lines renewals, marketing, quoting, and account servicing.
• Knowledge of multiple carrier platforms and rating systems.
