Job summary

gpac in Los Angeles seeks an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to deliver exceptional service to clients and assist with policy questions, renewals, and coverage explanations.

You will review daily account activity, prepare renewal summaries, quote personal lines coverage with multiple carriers, and maintain client records in the agency management system. A valid P&C license and 5+ years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a personal lines insurance agency role.
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license required.
• Prior experience with an independent insurance agency is preferred.
• Experience using Applied Systems or similar agency management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and service-driven Personal Lines Account Manager to join our growing insurance agency. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys building strong relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with policy questions, coverage explanations, and service requests
• Review and process daily account activity, including policy changes, claims notices, auto ID cards, MVR orders, and certificates
• Review policies for accuracy and prepare them for producer delivery or direct distribution to clients
• Prepare renewal summaries, mail renewal letters, and update renewal data in the agency management system
• Quote personal lines coverage with multiple insurance carriers
• Process evidence of insurance (EOIs) and related policy documentation
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system
• Complete additional assigned duties in a timely and efficient manner

• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, carriers, and internal team members
• Provide timely and accurate information to support producers and clients
• Process policy changes promptly and document all activity

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a personal lines insurance agency role
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license required
• Prior experience with an independent insurance agency
• Experience using Applied Systems agency management software preferred
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• High school diploma required; some college coursework or insurance designations (CIC, CPCU, ARM, CISR) a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and agency management systems
