Qualifications

• State Resident Insurance License is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• College degree is preferred.
• Personal Lines knowledge is preferred.
• Industry designation is preferred.
• Prior sales, insurance or banking-referral experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quotes, presents, delivers, and sells Personal Lines new business opportunities.
• Meets or exceeds monthly/annual new-business goals.
• Develops relationships with First United Bank partners and mortgage teams.
• Responds promptly to referrals and communicates outcomes to partners.
• Maintains and documents new-business pipeline in CRM/agency management system.
• Follows up on quotes and converts opportunities into bound business.
• Identifies opportunities to expand accounts with Personal Lines products.
• Evaluates carrier options and coverage needs.
