Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000+ (commensurate with experience; higher compensation considered for exceptional candidates)

Qualifications/Requirements

• Experience:
  • 10+ years of insurance experience, including 5+ years in underwriting within a carrier environment.
  • 5+ years of staff management experience.
  • Proven track record of creating and placing new business and establishing relationships within the independent retail agency system.
• Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance and Risk Management or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant licenses are a plus.
• Skills and Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of underwriting concepts, policy design, and book management.
  • Financial acumen with knowledge of rate‑making, pricing concepts, and profitability drivers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to adapt to new software applications and carrier systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast‑paced environment with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving and research capabilities.
  • Customer‑focused with a drive to implement positive process changes.
