Job summary

The Juris Agency in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Personal Lines Customer Service Representative to join our team. You will build relationships with clients, handle inquiries, and support colleagues across the agency.

The ideal candidate will bring strong negotiation skills, in‑depth knowledge of personal lines products, excellent client management, and outstanding communication. A P&C license is preferred but not required. We offer hands‑on training and a Monday–Friday schedule with evenings off.

Qualifications

• Proactive problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• P&C Insurance License preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Establish working relationships with clients, prospects, and represented companies via phone, email, and written correspondence.
• Support teammates with follow-up for clients and prospects.
• Research and resolve coverage questions.
• Promptly respond to client needs by phone or electronically.
• Maintain client files and manage routine correspondence across systems.
• Cultivate new opportunities and offer additional lines through consultative selling.
• Assist with other office duties as needed.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Establishing working relationships with clients, potential clients, and the companies we represent through phone, email, and written correspondence
• Supporting teammates with follow-up for clients and prospects
• Researching and resolving coverage questions
• Promptly responding to client needs either on the phone or electronically
• Maintaining client files and processing routine correspondence between our agency and the client or company, both in paper records and across our various software programs
• Cultivating new opportunities and offering additional lines of insurance through consultative selling
• Assisting with other office duties as they arise and are needed
