Job summary

The Jonus Group in Denton, TX is seeking a dedicated Personal Lines Account Manager to join a team focused on maintaining client relationships and delivering exceptional service for personal lines insurance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of personal lines experience, a P&C license, and familiarity with AMS 360. You will manage renewals, underwriting memos, data entry, and opportunities for additional lines while collaborating with clients and carriers.

Qualifications

• Licensed Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
• Minimum of 3 years of personal lines insurance experience.
• Familiarity with AMS 360 software is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, prospects, and insurance carriers through phone, email, and written communication.
• Provide support to teammates by following up with clients and prospects.
• Research and resolve coverage-related questions.
• Respond promptly to client needs via phone or electronic communication.
• Maintain accurate client files and process routine correspondence using various software programs.
• Prioritize and process client service requests, ensuring timely submission to insurance carriers.
• Handle financial transactions on the day they are received.
• Review and process policy renewals at least 60 days prior to expiration.
• Manage and process underwriting memos daily.
• Conduct account remarketing as needed.
• Perform data entry and other administrative tasks.
• Submit change requests, cancellation requests, and other transactions electronically or via the internet.
• Identify and cultivate new opportunities for additional lines of insurance through consultative selling.
• Foster positive working relationships with clients and team members, maintaining a professional and positive attitude.
