Job summary

Hardenbergh Insurance Company (HIG) in Marlton, NJ is seeking a Personal Insurance Account Manager to service an assigned book of business and provide responsive support to clients and insurance carriers. Occasional travel to Vineland, NJ is required.

The ideal candidate will have 1–5 years of personal insurance experience, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to exercise independent judgment in client and business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Process client change requests and billing/coverage inquiries.
• Research and respond to client and carrier inquiries.

• Perform remarketing activities for existing clients.
• Service walk-in client requests and provide outstanding customer service.
• Review expiration lists to ensure renewals are issued and updated in Epic.

Hardenbergh Insurance Company (HIG) is seeking an experienced Personal Insurance Account Manager to join our Personal Insurance team in Marlton, NJ. (with occasional travel to Vineland, NJ)

This position is responsible for servicing an assigned book of business and providing responsive, professional support to clients and insurance carriers.

The ideal candidate will have strong personal insurance experience, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment when making decisions that impact clients and the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process client change requests, excluding mortgage company changes.
• Reconcile billing and coverage inquiries and provide timely resolution.
• Research and respond to client and carrier inquiries.
• Assist with First Notice of Loss and claim resolution.
• Perform remarketing activities for existing clients when appropriate.
• Service walk-in client requests and provide exceptional customer service.
• Review expiration lists to ensure renewals are issued and accurately updated in Epic, including agency-billed accounts.
• Maintain the agency management system according to agency standards.
• Adhere to all department processes and procedures.
• Complete special projects and other assignments as requested by the Department Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1–5 years of insurance experience — REQUIRED.
• Active New Jersey Property & Casualty Producer License — REQUIRED.
• Must be able to commute to Marlton/Vineland, NJ - REQUIRED.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
