Job summary

Lighthouse Insurance Agency in Fairfield, OH is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to oversee a dedicated book of auto, home, and umbrella policies. You’ll handle policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and client inquiries with accuracy and a client-first approach.

You will collaborate with producers and underwriters, identify cross-sell opportunities, and mentor newer team members while maintaining strict compliance and up-to-date records in the agency management system.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of personal lines account management or CSR experience.
• Active Ohio Property & Casualty license.
• Knowledge of personal lines carriers, coverage forms, and rating factors.
• Strong attention to detail with policy documents and nuances.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a client-first tone.
• Ability to manage a high volume of client interactions under pressure.
• Experience with AMS360, EPIC, Momentum/NowCerts or similar systems.
• Team-oriented yet able to work independently.
• High school diploma; associate's or bachelor's degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned book of personal lines clients, handling policy changes and endorsements.
• Proactively manage renewal cycle, review coverage gaps and rate changes.
• Issue certificates of insurance and evidence of coverage as needed.
• Guide clients through claims intake and first steps after a loss.
• Identify cross-sell and account-rounding opportunities (auto, home, umbrella, life).
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records in the agency management system.
• Communicate promptly and professionally across phone, email, and text with same-day responses.
• Partner with producers and underwriters to resolve issues quickly.
• Mentor newer team members as the agency grows.
• Maintain compliance with agency documentation standards on every account touch.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a genuine, client-first tone
• Proven ability to manage a high volume of client interactions while staying organized under pressure
• Experience with agency management systems (AMS360, EPIC, Momentum/NowCerts, or similar) preferred
• A team-oriented mindset with the confidence to work independently
