Job summary

JS Braddock in Medford, NJ is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager to manage an assigned book of business, advise clients on coverage options, and handle policy changes.

The role requires a Property and Casualty license, strong communication, detail orientation, and the ability to work independently with a team, delivering outstanding customer service. You will collaborate with underwriters and perform policy reviews while using agency systems for accurate records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal lines insurance.
• Active Property and Casualty license required.
• Strong knowledge of personal lines products and coverage options.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Daily account management of an assigned book of business including policy changes, audits, invoicing, premium breakdowns, certificates of insurance, ID cards, and responding to policy inquiries.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on coverage options and policy changes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and underwriters.
• Conduct regular policy reviews to ensure optimal coverage and client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and product offerings.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals.
• Utilize agency management systems for accurate record-keeping and reporting.
• Obtain documents from select companies’ websites (e.g. renewals and endorsements).

Supplemental pay types: Commission paid on new and renewal
