Job summary

SouthPoint Risk, a Member of Correll Insurance Group, in Knoxville, TN, seeks a Personal Lines Account Manager responsible for high-level sales support and exceptional customer service. You will help grow and retain new and renewal business, while processing endorsements, certificates, and client requests.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in Personal Lines P&C, possess a Property and Casualty license or are on track to obtain one within 12 months, and are proficient with AMS360 and ImageRight or

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience as Personal Lines P&C Account Manager or similar.
• License in Property and Casualty Insurance within 6–12 months; company will assist with courses/licensing fees.

Responsibilities

• Quote new business and renewals as needed.
• Update management system and send to client.
• Respond to client emails/phone requests; manage endorsements and certificates.
• Provide client documents, checklists, proposals.
• Maintain organized workstation with renewal/expiration reports.
• Build relationships with clients and companies represented.
• Support teammates with follow-up for clients and prospects.
• Research and resolve coverage questions.
• Respond to client needs via phone or email.
• Develop new opportunities and cross-sell lines of insurance.
• Assist with other office duties as needed.

SouthPoint Risk, a Member of Correll Insurance Group has an immediate need for a Personal Lines Account Manager at our office in Knoxville, TN.

The Personal Lines Account Manager provides high-level sales support and exceptional customer service to clients. This role requires strong independent judgment and discretion to consistently deliver superior service. The Account Manager contributes to the growth and retention of both new and renewal business in alignment with agency goals and offers field support to address client needs. Responsibilities include assisting clients with service requests, processing changes to existing accounts, and recommending appropriate insurance and risk management solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Quoting new business and remarketing renewals as needed
• Updating all necessary items in management system and sending to client as needed
• Receiving and responding to client emails, phone calls, requests for endorsements, certificates, etc.; maintaining accurate and current electronic files documenting such requests are handled.
• Providing necessary client documents, checklists, and proposals.
• Using support tools (electronic tasks and expiration/renewal reports) to maintain an organized and effective workstation.
• Establish working relationships with clients, potential clients, and the companies we represent via phone, email, and written correspondence.
• Support teammates with follow-up for clients and prospects.
• Research and resolve coverage questions.
• Promptly respond to client needs either on the phone or electronically.
• Cultivate new opportunities and offer additional lines of insurance through consultative selling.
• Assist with other office duties as they arise and are needed.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• 1 to 3 years experiences as a Personal Lines P& C Account Manager or similar is preferred
• Possess or able to obtain Property and Casualty Insurance License within 6-12 months of employment. Correll will assist in scheduling courses and cover the application and licensing fees along with covering the cost for bi-annual license renewals.
• Proficient in AMS360 and ImageRight (Worksmart) is preferred but not required

• Possess Property and Casualty Insurance License
