Job summary

Allen/Freeman/McDonnell Agency in Brewer, ME is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to deliver outstanding service for auto, home and other personal policies. You will manage day-to-day client needs, review coverage, and work with carriers on underwriting and billing issues.

Ideal candidates have a Maine P&C license and at least 2 years of personal lines experience, with strong communication and organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Active Maine Property & Casualty Insurance License (or ability to obtain within timeframe).
• Minimum of 2 years of personal lines insurance experience preferred.
• Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day service needs for personal lines clients, including auto, home, umbrella, recreational vehicle, and other personal insurance policies.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements.
• Conduct coverage reviews and provide recommendations based on clients' evolving needs.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
• Work closely with insurance carriers to resolve underwriting, billing, and claims-related issues.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation within the agency management system.
• Assist with cross-selling and account rounding opportunities.
