SWBC is seeking a talented individual to be responsible for meeting with high‑net‑worth clients, reviewing their personal insurance accounts, and providing prompt, accurate, and courteous service. The role involves maintaining those accounts by constantly reviewing and communicating with clients, and working with producers to expand our VIP client business.

Highly motivated, experienced personal lines account manager needed to work with VIP clients, evaluating, classifying, and quoting policies in collaboration with various insurance carriers and/or brokers.
Essential duties
- Provide information, rates, and quotes for all new and renewal VIP personal lines policies by evaluating, processing, and placing coverage based on the degree of risk indicated on the applications and the underwriting guidelines of various carriers and/or brokers.
- Review renewal requests and endorsements for accuracy and adherence to underwriting guidelines for various carriers and/or brokers in preparing policies, endorsements, binders, and certificates.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and thorough files on every customer account by processing daily mail and telephone requests, and entering and scanning all required account data into the system.
- Assist and provide training to other Customer Service Representatives as requested.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge on rating systems, forms, and coverage changes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalency.
- General Insurance license and professional designations (CISR, CIC).
- Minimum of two (2) years of VIP client – personal lines insurance experience.
- Working knowledge of insurance forms, coverage, and rating.
- Strong working knowledge of PCs and related applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑resolution skills.
- Strong verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to type a minimum of 45 wpm accurately, operate a calculator, and have a working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
- Able to work under sometimes stressful conditions while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Able to sit for long periods updating and validating insurance policies.
- Able to lift and/or push 10‑20 lbs. of files, insurance manuals, or boxes.
- May have to travel locally and nationally.
