Job summary

Bush & Bush Law Group is seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal to support our attorneys in handling personal injury matters. You will manage case files, draft documents, and coordinate communication with clients and the legal team.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in legal studies or paralegal field and at least 5 years’ experience in a personal injury firm. Proficiency with MS Office and case management software is required, with a collaborative, client-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or related field preferred; paralegal certification is a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal in a personal injury law firm is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and client correspondence.
• Maintain and manage active case files to ensure all necessary documentation is available for attorneys and clients.
• Assist attorneys in the discovery process, including gathering evidence, summarizing documents, and organizing case-related materials.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and attorneys, providing case updates and answering client inquiries with professionalism and compassion.
• Track important deadlines and manage the legal calendar for hearings, depositions, and administrative tasks.
• Assist in preparing exhibits and trial materials, ensuring everything is organized and ready prior to court appearances.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries or reports as needed by attorneys.
