Job summary

CF Legal Recruiting and Staffing is recruiting for a highly experienced bilingual Spanish paralegal for a prominent Plaintiff Personal Injury firm in the Bronx, NYC. The ideal candidate will independently manage a case run, draft and manage pleadings, and handle litigation documents with minimal supervision.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years’ paralegal experience in a plaintiff’s-side firm, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience in a Plaintiff’s-side firm.
• Strong organization and ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.
• Proficiency in drafting pleadings and litigation documents (e.g., complaints, bills of particulars, motions).
• Notary Public certification is not required but would be ideal.

Responsibilities

• Draft and manage pleadings and litigation documents beyond the complaint, responses, and discovery.
• Prepare and file documents using NYSCEF and other electronic systems.
• Organize discovery responses, negotiation notes, and trial preparation materials.
• Coordinate with attorneys to prepare settlement packages and expert exchanges.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure timely execution of all deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Paralegal in a Plaintiff’s-side law firm.

They are seeking someone who can independently manage a case run, draft and manage pleadings and litigation documents, including but not limited to:

• Discovery Responses
• Notices for Discovery and Inspection
• Notices to Admit
• Notices of Entry
• HIPAA-compliant authorizations
• 3101(d) and 4532 exchanges

• Stipulations
• Affidavits and Affirmations
• Notes of Issue
• Settlement Packages
• Expert Exchanges
• Trial preparation
• E-filing through NYSCEF

The candidate should also be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook and be technologically capable of learning and utilizing their case management software.

While not required, having a Notary Public certification would be ideal.

Additionally, they need someone who is highly organized, comfortable independently managing a high-volume caseload, and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
