Job description

Must be bilingual in English and Spanish

We are seeking a true litigation paralegal with at least 2+ years of experience in a law firm, with strong analytical and writing skills, who can independently manage case-related tasks from intake through trial. Personal injury experience is preferred.

This is a full-time position; 5 days a week, 40 hours a week, and an in-person job at the Kew Gardens, Queens office.

While personal injury experience is preferred, we are open to candidates with strong litigation experience of at least 2+ years in other practice areas, and familiar with the litigation process and demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and adapt.

This is not an administrative role. The ideal candidate must have prior paralegal experience and be analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of reviewing and working up case files without extensive training.

You will work directly with the managing attorney in a small firm environment and will be expected to take ownership of your work and operate independently.

This role is best suited for candidates who can contribute independently and have a strong foundation in litigation. Personal injury experience is preferred; however, candidates with relevant litigation experience and the ability to quickly learn will be considered.

We are seeking candidates interested in a long-term opportunity.

Compensation:

  • Salary: $60,000 – $85,000 (based on experience).

  • In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a performance-based year-end bonus. Bonuses are tied to firm performance and individual contribution, including case preparation, case development, and overall impact on results. High performers have the opportunity to earn above base compensation.

Additional benefits include:

  • Paid time off (2 weeks after one year)

  • Standard national holidays.

  • Year-end bonus

  • Matching 401(k) (up to 3% of yearly salary)

  • 2 weeks' vacation (after 1 year)

  • Opportunity for growth
