LeoForce is seeking a seasoned Personal Injury Paralegal in Charlotte, NC to support attorneys in all stages of case litigation. The role requires handling case setup, drafting and filing documents, and trial preparation with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of personal injury paralegal experience, strong drafting skills, and proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a personal injury paralegal.
  • Experience in case management, litigation support, legal compliance, and client interaction.
  • Proficiency in drafting and editing legal documents.
  • Strong knowledge of legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent time management and organization; able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Paralegal certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with personal injury laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage personal injury cases from inception through resolution, including case setup, drafting and filing legal documents, and trial preparation.
  • Provide comprehensive litigation support to attorneys, including legal research, gathering and analyzing evidence, and preparing legal arguments.
  • Interact directly with clients to gather case details, update them on case progress, and address their queries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure legal compliance in all case management activities and maintain accurate case files and records.
  • Utilize legal software for efficient case management and documentation.
  • Draft, proofread, and edit a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Apply critical thinking skills to identify, analyze, and resolve complex legal issues.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive client information.
