Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Texas license in good standing with 2–5+ years in personal injury or civil litigation.
• Experience handling discovery, drafting pleadings and motions, and participating in mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Strong legal research and writing abilities with clear, persuasive advocacy.
• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills; able to explain complex legal concepts and manage client expectations.
• Solid case management and organizational skills; able to handle multiple active matters.
• Comfort working on-site in a team environment with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to move cases efficiently.
• Familiarity with personal injury law, civil procedure, and rules of evidence; settlement negotiation beneficial.
• Commitment to ethical practice, professionalism, and advocacy; trial or mock trial experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a litigation caseload from intake through resolution.
• Draft pleadings and motions; handle discovery and prepare for mediations, hearings, and trial.
• Meet with clients; gather and analyze evidence; communicate with opposing counsel and insurers.
• Develop case strategies and negotiate settlements.
• Supervise support staff on case-related tasks; ensure deadlines and procedural requirements are met.
• Maintain detailed file documentation and adhere to firm policies and ethical standards.
