Job summary

WGK Personal Injury Lawyers in Baltimore seeks a litigation attorney to manage a docket of ~60 active personal injury files from complaint to resolution, drafting and arguing motions, deposing physicians and experts, and trying cases in Maryland district and circuit courts.

You will work in person five days a week at our downtown office, with a compensation package including stage-based commissions on resolved cases and 30% of the firm's net fee on cases originated by you.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney in Maryland (active bar admission)
• Experience handling personal injury cases from filing to resolution
• Strong negotiation and trial skills

Responsibilities

• Manage a docket of ~60 active personal injury files from complaint through resolution
• Draft and argue motions, depose treating physicians and defense experts
• Negotiate at mediation/arbitration and try cases in District and Circuit Courts across Maryland
• Collaborate with three litigation paralegals and intake/investigations team
