Job summary

Orionplacement is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to manage litigation matters in Maryland, with trial experience and a strong emphasis on client advocacy. This on-site role requires Maryland Bar admission and 3+ years in PI litigation, including trial work, research, and writing.

You will work closely with seasoned attorneys, advancing cases through depositions, negotiations, and trial readiness while maintaining organized case files and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Bar license in good standing.
• 3+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Trial and courtroom experience.
• JD from an accredited law school.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Effective negotiation, advocacy, and client communication skills.
• Strong organization and case management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury litigation matters and help move cases toward successful resolution.
• Conduct legal research involving Maryland personal injury law and relevant precedents.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and other litigation documents.
• Prepare cases for depositions, hearings, negotiations, settlement discussions, and trial.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and advocate effectively on their behalf.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other parties throughout the litigation process.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and help develop effective case strategies.
• Maintain organized case files, deadlines, and documentation across an active caseload.
• Stay current on developments in personal injury law and litigation practices.

Location

Pikesville, MD. This is an on-site position offering close collaboration with our attorneys and litigation team. Candidates must be able to commute reliably to our Pikesville office.

Candidates must be active members of the Maryland Bar in good standing and have 3+ years of personal injury litigation experience, including trial experience.
