Jobot in Durham, NC is seeking a permanent Litigation Paralegal with a focus on Personal Injury to join our on-site team. You will manage a diverse caseload and support attorneys from filing through trial.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a litigation paralegal focusing on personal injury.
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent degree required.
• Strong knowledge of civil procedure and case management.
• Excellent organization and deadline management.
• Clear written and verbal communication with clients and attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury litigation from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategy.
• Coordinate medical records, bills, and lien reductions.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel and court personnel.
• Assist attorneys for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Maintain organized case files and track deadlines.
