This role supports attorneys through all stages of personal injury litigation—from pleadings through trial preparation—and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a personal injury or civil litigation setting, excellent legal writing and document management skills, and experience with case

Qualifications

• Proven paralegal experience in personal injury or civil litigation.
• 2+ years of experience in a personal injury law firm or litigation-focused practice preferred.
• Strong legal writing and drafting skills with attention to detail.
• Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records and damages documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency with legal case management, document management, and e-filing systems.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough legal research using multiple resources.
• Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in all phases of personal injury litigation, including discovery, mediation, and trial preparation.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and correspondence.
• Manage and maintain personal injury case files, ensuring documentation is accurate and organized.
• Communicate with clients to obtain information, provide case updates, and explain next steps.
• Review, organize, and summarize medical records, medical bills, wage documentation, and other damages material.
• Coordinate depositions, IMEs, mediations, and court hearings.
• Prepare trial and mediation materials, including exhibits, witness lists, and summaries.
• File legal documents with state and federal courts, ensuring deadlines and procedural rules are met.
• Utilize LexisNexis and other tools to support case strategy and litigation preparation.
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date case information in internal systems.
