The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a personal injury or civil litigation setting, strong legal writing, and proficiency with case management and e-filing systems.

Qualifications

• Proven paralegal experience in a law office, with emphasis on personal injury or civil litigation.
• 2+ years of experience in a personal injury law firm or litigation-focused practice preferred.
• Strong legal writing and drafting skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency with legal case management, document management, and e-filing systems.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
• Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience providing executive or administrative support is a plus.
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethical standards, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in all phases of personal injury litigation, including discovery, mediation, and trial preparation.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and correspondence.
• Manage and maintain personal injury case files within case management systems.
• Communicate with clients to obtain information, provide case updates, and explain next steps.
• Review and organize medical records, medical bills, and other damages documentation.
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, and court hearings.
• Prepare trial materials, exhibits, witness lists, and summaries.
• File legal documents with state and federal courts, adhering to deadlines.
• Utilize LexisNexis to support case strategy and research.
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date case information.
