This role entails organizing case files, meeting deadlines, and collaborating with attorneys, experts, and staff. 3+ years civil litigation experience and ABA-approved paralegal certification or equivalent degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of civil litigation paralegal experience
• ABA-approved paralegal certificate or a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
• Proficient in utilizing legal research tools and case management software
• Outstanding written and verbal communication capabilities
• Exceptional attention to detail and superior organizational skills
• Competent in handling multiple tasks simultaneously and thriving under pressure
• Well-versed in state and federal court rules and procedures
• Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to client confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Draft and file pleadings while maintaining accuracy and deadlines
• Propound discovery with proper case captions and proofs of service
• Communicate with clients to gather information and review files
• Respond to discovery requests with appropriate objections and substantive responses
• Draft and format other discovery tools and review subpoenas
• Organize and manage case files and folders
• Coordinate depositions, hearings, and other case-related events
• Assist with expert designation and trial preparation
• Provide trial support with exhibits and witness examination
• Participate in department and team meetings
