Job summary

Omega Law Group, PC is seeking an experienced personal injury attorney to join our firm. You will manage a caseload from inception through settlement, diligently representing clients to secure fair compensation for injuries.

Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, discovery, depositions, and handling mediations, motions, and hearings. The ideal candidate will have a J.D., be admitted to the California State Bar, and demonstrate strong research, communication, and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Strategically litigate personal injury cases by working up case files.
• Draft pleadings, including complaints, motions, oppositions, and other legal documents to advance case progression.
• Draft and review discovery, meet and confer letters, and discovery motions.
• Prepare, conduct, and defend percipient and expert depositions.
• Argue motion and opposition hearings remotely and in court.
• Draft mediation briefs, attend mediation, and actively participate in negotiating settlements.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and assess case values.
• Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates and discuss case developments.
• Prepare pre-trial documents and trial materials in case the case goes to trial.
• Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and court hearings.
• Manage and provide guidance to litigation assistants and paralegals

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
