Sitter Studio in Salem, MA seeks a Litigation Paralegal / Personal Injury Paralegal to manage case files from start to finish in a full-time role. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, coordinating with clients and carriers, and handling medical records with attention to detail.

The ideal candidate has 1–3+ years in personal injury or civil litigation, experience with Smart Advocate, and a Notary Public commission or willingness to obtain one. Bilingual skills are a strong plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation.
• Experience managing case files from inception through resolution.
• Proficiency with Smart Advocate case management software.
• Current Notary Public commission or willingness to obtain notary status upon hire.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese) are a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation and personal injury case files independently and collaboratively.
• Draft, proofread, and prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
• Communicate professionally with clients, insurance carriers, and medical providers.
• Request, organize, and review medical records and billing charts.
• Utilize case management software to maintain accurate records and track deadlines.
• Answer incoming client communications and perform general administrative duties.
• Serve as a Notary Public for legal document execution.
