The ideal candidate has at least five years of litigation experience, a paralegal certificate, and proficiency with Clio, Westlaw, and LexisNexis, along with excellent organizational, interviewing, and writing skills for interaction with clients and experts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience.
  • Paralegal certificate required; BA in Paralegal Studies preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of legal administrative processes including document review, proofreading, transcription, and filing procedures.
  • Proficiency in legal case management software such as Clio or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with Westlaw and LexisNexis to support case analysis and strategy development.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Effective interviewing skills for client intake and witness statements.
  • Strong written communication skills for drafting reports, summaries, and correspondence.
  • Ability to handle administrative tasks such as data entry, file management, phone etiquette, and clerical support efficiently.
  • Knowledge of law office procedures across various practice areas is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting pleadings, discovery requests, and legal correspondence related to personal injury claims
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategies
  • Manage and organize case files using document management systems such as Clio, ensuring all records are accurate, complete, and easily accessible
  • Review and analyze medical records, accident reports, and other relevant documents for case development
  • Coordinate depositions, interviews with clients and witnesses, and court appearances to facilitate smooth litigation processes
  • Prepare and file legal documents with courts in compliance with jurisdictional requirements
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and expert witnesses to facilitate case progress

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will support attorneys handling personal injury cases from inception through resolution, ensuring smooth case progression and efficient management of legal processes. Your proactive approach and legal expertise will help us deliver exceptional client service while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful litigation efforts within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
